A Força Aérea (FA) possui um parque de imóveis vasto e disperso territorialmente, exigindo um grande esforço na componente de manutenção e conservação. O atual processo de inspeção de imóveis tem um forte caráter reativo, apresentando algumas falhas que comprometem a afetação dos recursos, tanto humanos como económicos. Assim e para dotar a FA com ferramentas que agilizem e tornem a inspeção de imóveis mais eficiente, estudou-se a implementação de um Modelo de Inspeção de Imóveis (MII), na FA, através do estudo e análise do processo atual. Para tal empregou-se um raciocínio hipotético-dedutivo, com investigação através de sete entrevistas estruturadas, cujas perguntas foram elaboradas pelo isolamento das dimensões e indicadores definidos no mapa conceptual. Essa investigação possibilitou concluir que existem vantagens para a FA na implementação do MII, tendo-se também identificado qual a arquitetura que o MII deverá possuir e que se adequa à FA. Por fim estudaram-se as linhas gerais de integração organizacional, do MII, na FA. Abstract: The Portuguese Airforce (PoAF) has a vast building patrimony, which is also territorially dispersed, requiring a great effort in their maintenance and conservation. The current process of building inspection has a strong reative character, presenting some flaws that compromise the allocation of resources, being both human and economic. Thus, in order to provide the PoAF with tools that could expedite and make building inspection more efficient, it was studied the implementation of a Model for Building Inspection (MBI) in the PoAF, through the study and analysis of the current process. For this purpose a hypothetical-deductive logic was used, with a research through seven structured interviews, whose questions were elaborated by the isolation of the dimensions and indicators defined in the conceptual map. This investigation made it possible to conclude that there are advantages for the PoAF in the implementation of the MBI, and it has also identified which architecture the MBI should have and that is more suitable for the PoAF. Finally, it was studied the general lines for the organizational integration of the MBI in the PoAF.
