A Internet nasceu por razões relacionadas com a segurança em redes informáticas e, tornou-se actualmente numa febre que revolucionou completamente a comunicação global. Ao longo dos anos a Internet foi crescendo a um ritmo acelerado, sendo necessário criar estruturas de coordenação e cooperação entre o cada vez maior número de redes e operadores que a integravam. No dia-a-dia recorremos à internet para procurar uma simples receita de um bolo que queremos fazer, para saber as notícias de última hora ou mesmo para saber se vai chover. Na era digital em que vivemos criar um site faz toda a diferença, pois quando alguém procura informações de uma empresa, seja uma morada ou um produto, por mais insignificante que seja essa informação, recorremos à Internet. Irá chegar o tempo, em que as empresas que não têm um site na internet estarão fora do mercado. Para a realização desta dissertação, que consistiu na Concepção e Implementação de um Website de uma Associação Sindical, procurou-se fazer uma ligação entre a revisão da literatura existente tendo em atenção as palavras-chave e combinações das mesmas em Português e Inglês e a análise das necessidades do sindicato e dos sócios. Desta forma, começou-se por fazer o levantamento dos requisitos, analisando sites e definindo uma possível estrutura. Partindo dessa estrutura efectuou-se uma entrevista ao Presidente do Sindicato e foram enviados questionários aos sócios, que puderam desta forma dar a sua opinião em relação aos conteúdos e funcionalidades que gostariam de ter acesso através do site. De seguida escolheu-se o programa mais adequado para a construção do site, escolheu-se o domínio, o alojamento, procedeu-se à construção e implementação do site e foi feita uma avaliação do mesmo pela Direcção do Sindicato. Por último procedeu-se ao lançamento e divulgação pelos sócios.
The Internet was born because of security reasons related to computer networks and, it became nowadays a fever that completely revolutionized global communication. Over the years, Internet has been growing at a fast rhythm, becoming necessary to build coordination and cooperation structures, among the increasing number of networks and operators that integrates it. Day-to-day, we go to the Internet to look for a simple cake recipe that we intend to do, to know update news or even to know if it will rain. In the digital time that we are now living, to build a website can make all the difference, since, people that look for information about an organization, such as an address or product, no matter how insignificant that information may be, people go and search for it in the Internet. It will become the time that companies, which don’t have an internet website, will be out of the business market. To the accomplishment of this dissertation, that consisted in the Conception and Implementation of a Website for an Union Association, it was looked for making a connection between the existing literature revision, paying attention to the key-words and their combination in Portuguese and English, and as well, analyzing the Union and its associate’s needs. This way, it was started with elaborating the requisites search, analyzing websites and defining a possible structure. Starting from that structure, it was made an interview to the Union Chair Man and it was sent questionnaires to the Union associates, in which, they could give their own opinion, concerning the contents and functionalities that they would like to have access through the site. Following, it was chosen the software to build the website, it was chosen the web domain, the webhost, it was built and implemented the website and it was made an evaluation from it by the Union Board. Finally, it was accomplished the website release and disclosure through the Union associates.
