Relatório da Prática Profissional Supervisionada Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar
O presente relatório retrata de uma forma reflexiva a Prática Profissional Supervisionada realizada em dois contextos – Creche e Jardim de Infância, ao longo do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar No mesmo são caracterizados os contextos e definidas as principais intenções para minha ação, sendo, brevemente, descrita e analisada a forma como estas foram colocadas em prática. A principal problemática que surgiu na prática em Jardim de Infância ocupa lugar central deste relatório. Ao realizar a minha PPS em JI numa instituição que segue o modelo High/Scope e com um grupo heterogéneo em idade deparei-me com uma dificuldade: a gestão dos momentos de pequenos grupos. Era notório que, neste momento específico da rotina High/Scope as crianças mais pequenas não se envolviam tanto nas tarefas propostas. Esta investigação surgiu, então, com o objetivo de melhorar a minha prática, permitindo-me delinear estratégias para os momentos de pequeno grupo, de forma a que se constituíssem desafios adequados às necessidades e capacidades de todas as crianças, contribuindo para um real envolvimento das mesmas nas tarefas propostas. Para a realização desta investigação utilizei como inspiração a metodologia de investigação-ação e a mesma enquadra-se num paradigma qualitativo. A principal técnica de recolha de dados utilizada foi a observação e foram utilizados como instrumentos todos os registos recorrentes da minha prática – notas de campo e registos diários. Sendo que este relatório constitui o culminar de um percurso de formação na área de educação de infância está, também presente, uma breve reflexão sobre a forma como este percurso contribuiu para a construção da minha identidade enquanto educadora de Infância.
ABSTRACT The following report shows in a reflective manner the Supervised Professional Practice performed in two contexts – day-care and kindergarten, throughout the Master’s Degree in Pre-School Education. Still in this report, it will be characterized the contexts and defined the primary intentions for my actions, being briefly described and analysed, the way in which these where put to practice. The fundamental problem that came up while on kindergarten occupies the core of this report. While performing my SPP in kindergarten, in an institution that follows the High/Scope model with a heterogeneous group of ages, I’ve stumbled with a problematic: managing the moments within small groups. It was clear that in this specific moment of the High/Scope routine, the smaller children weren’t involved as much in their proposed tasks. This investigation emerged with the purpose of improving my practice, allowing me to develop and outline strategies for the moments in small groups, in a way that it constitutes a challenge, fit for the needs and capacities of all the children involved, by so, making a contribution for a real envelopment on the same proposed tasks. In order to fulfill this investigation, I’ve used as inspiration the methodology of research – action and this same fits in a qualitative paradigm. The main technic used to collect data was observation and were used as instruments all the records recurrent to my practice – field notes and daily records. Being that this report constitutes the final part of a formation in a course of childhood education, it is also present, a brief reflection on the way that this journey has contributed for my own personal growth and my identity as an educator.
