Cooperação e orientação motivacional em corporações de bombeiros

A cooperação e a motivação já têm sido avaliadas em conjunto, mas na grande maioria em contexto desportivo. Neste estudo, o objectivo passou aplicar duas escalas, validadas recentemente em organizações, mas neste caso seria numa organização diferente (Bombeiros), analisando assim se existe influência na cooperação quando a motivação aumenta ou diminui. As escalas utilizadas foram, o Questionário de Cooperação Desportiva de Garcia-mas, adaptado ás organizações por Oliveira, (2010) e a escala de Multi-Factorial de Motivação no Trabalho (Multi-Moti) de Ferreira, A.; Diogo; Ferreira,; Valente, (2006). A amostra foi constituída por 101 bombeiros de duas corporações, uma da região norte e outra da região centro do país. Sendo que, 51 bombeiros eram da região norte (37 so sexo masculino e 14 do sexo feminino) e 50 da região centro (22 do sexo feminino e 28 do sexo masculino). A média de idades encontram-se compreendida nos 30,2 anos com um desvio padrão de 8,9. Os resultados obtidos, não foram significativos, sendo que nenhuma das hipóteses se confirmou.

ABSTRACT: The cooperation and motivation have already been evaluated together, but the big majority is in a sports context. In this study, the main goal was to apply two scales, validated recently in organizations, but in this case it would be in a different organization (the Firemen), therefore analyzing if there is influence in cooperation when the motivation rises or decreases. The scales utilized where, the “Questionário de Cooperação Desportiva” of Garcia-mas, adapted to organizations by Oliveira, M.M (2010) and the scale of “Multi-Factorial Motivation at Work” (Multi-Moti) by Ferreira, A.; Diogo, C.; Ferreira, M.; Valente, A. C. (2006). The sample was formed by 101 firemen of two different corporations, one from the north region and the other from the central region of the country. Being that, 51 firemen where from the north region (37 of the male sex and 14 of the feminine sex) and 50 of the central region (22 of the feminine sex and 28 of the male sex). The average mean of ages is found comprehended in 30,2 years with a standard deviation of 8,9. The obtained results, were not significant, being that none of the hypothesis confirmed itself, however in some areas as in cooperation or motivation there exist values that can be considerate as being statistically significant, however their values are very low, not being able to be significant for the population.
