Um dos mais atuais tópicos de debate sobre a natureza dos gêneros literários tem como fulcro a questão do fenômeno sobrenatural na narrativa literária. Recentemente, tal conjectura ganha uma oportuna substância de classificação, quanto ao gênero, para obras romanescas escritas no âmbito das Literaturas Africanas de Língua Portuguesa e que refratem tal tópico no corpo de sua diegese. Nessa conjuntura epistêmica, analisa-se o conceito de gênero Fantástico, de Realismo Maravilhoso e de Realismo Mágico, cada qual com o seu campo de idiossincrasias. Como fechamento de circuito teórico, chega-se à lógica do Realismo Animista, terminologia de base antropológica que pode revelar a substantivação de uma nova estética apresentada por obras que proporcionem, em seu universo narrativo, a frequencia do plano sobrenatural da realidade nas narrativas africanas. Assim sendo, o corpus estudado, a saber, L, DM e DP dá condição de análise para apreciação de tais tópicos teóricos, além da crítica sobre liame existente entre alguns gêneros adjacentes, tais como a Alegoria e/ou a Utopia. Nesse ínterim, faz-se uma abordagem sobre as distinções entre história, historiação e estória, terminologias de base importantes para uma boa adequação dos conceitos sobre as diegeses estudadas. Além disso, ocorre a separação dos conceitos de gênero em torno da estética do texto do romance realista, formando-se uma diacronia. One of the most currently debated topics on the nature of literary genres has as fulcrum the matter of the supernatural phenomenon of literary narrative. Nowadays such thought can be facing a new point of view, since we have checked the opportunity of this subject at the present days, especially for a classification as a genre from the novels written in Africa and that refract such topic in the body of its diegesis. We are to talk of the questionings on the concept of Fantastic genre, going through the Wonderful Realism and also the Magic Realism, each of them in the field of its idiosyncrasies. As an end to the theory circuit, we get to the logic of the Animist Realism, terminology from the anthropological base which reveals the denomination of a new esthetics shown through book which provide in its narrative universe, the frequency of the supernatural plan of reality. Therefore, the corpus studied, which are L, DM and DP, provide the analysis condition for the appraisal of such theoretical topics, beyond the criticism on the real bond among some adjacent genres, such as Allegory and/or Utopia. In this interim, it is made an approach among the distinction of History, Historicity and Story. These terminologies are of an important base for a good adaptation of concepts on the diegesis studied.
