This dissertation has a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part I explore the concept ‘entre-tanto’ (between-many) related to the rhizome and the interval. I define ‘entre-tanto’ (between-many) and I find situations where this concept can exist in space and time, in order to enable the creation of an image. I relate the botany rhizome with the concept of rhizome from Gilles Deleuze (1925-1995) and Felix Guattari (1930-1992) and I show some characteristics as multiplicity, un-centred system, organism without beginning or end. I define interval as ‘space-in-between’ and possibility of motion and matter. Relating it with animated and installed image, with works from artists like Len Lye (1901-1980), Jodie Mack (1935-), Marcel Duchamp (1882-1968), Carl Andre (1935-), Kurt Schwitters (1887-1948) and Tomoko Takahashi (1966-). Finally I present Quase (Almost), is an installed moving image made by me, with the attempt of transforming one space in ‘forever-in-between’
