Este trabalho centra-se na necessidade premente da defesa que a formação do ser é superior à transmissão do saber. No atual paradigma educacional, a escola deve proporcionar aos seus educandos as condições necessárias para o desenvolvimento de todas as competências, de modo a que este se forme como um cidadão responsável e participativo na sociedade. O Projeto Histórias Animadas surgiu na Escola Básica dos 2º e 3º Ciclos Dr. Afonso Rodrigues Pereira, da Lourinhã, com o objetivo de criar hábitos de leitura nos alunos e o seu envolvimento na dinâmica das relações entre alunos de diferentes níveis de ensino. As principais linhas de força que nortearam este projeto vinculam-se às quatro principais ações destacadas no quadro teório-conceptual desta pesquisa: a evolução da Biblioteca Escolar em Portugal (desde os tempos de abril ao Programa da Rede de Bibliotecas Escolares); a figura do animador/contador (aluno); o drama/dramatização/teatralização; e, por último, uma abordagem às teorias de aprendizagem, no sentido de se perceber melhor o objetivo e enquadramento do projeto no seio de uma escola que se pretende dinâmica e impulsionadora de aprendizagens construtivas. O presente trabalho de investigação/ação insere-se num estudo descritivo pós-facto, desenvolvido entre outubro de 2005 a junho de 2006 e de outubro de 2007 a junho de 2008. Envolveu dezasseis alunos no primeiro momento e onze no segundo. Coloca-se o enfoque na tríade alunos/contadores - professor/orientador - biblioteca/espaço de magia, de modo a que a cooperação entre a mesma promova a leitura pelo prazer e permita o desenvolvimento de dinâmicas exequíveis no espaço da comunidade educativa. Esta narrativa foi construída, analisada e interpretada a partir de registos realizados como coordenadora do projeto, em grelhas de observação e imagens fotográficas que descrevem e explicam a dimensão de que se revestiu esta nossa procura de sentido. Os resultados obtidos são indicadores do elevado grau de relevância e de participação atingidas, bem como do impacto transformador nas atitudes e ganhos por parte dos alunos. Este projeto mostrou-se uma via promotora e facilitadora da comunicação, da educação para a sensibilidade e para a cidadania de todos os intervenientes. This work is centered in the pressing need of defense that the formation of the being is superior to the transmission of knowing. In the current educational paradigm, the school must provide to its students the necessary conditions for the development of all the abilities, in order that the student forms itself as a responsible and participative citizen in society. The Project Animated stories, started, in the Basic School of the 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Lourinhã, with the purpose to create reading habits in students and their involvement in the Dynamics of the relations between students from different education levels. The main force lines that guided this project are associated with the four main actions detached in the theoretical-conceptual framework of this research: the evolution of the School Library in Portugal: from April to the network Program of the School Libraries; the image of entertainer/storyteller (student); the drama/dramatization/theatralization and, finally, an approach to the Theories of Learning in order to better understand the purpose and framing of the project in a school which is intended to be dynamic and stimulator of constructive learning. The current work of research/action, inserted in a descriptive post-fact study developed between October 2005 to June 2006 and from October 2007 to June 2008. It involved sixteen students at the first moment and eleven in the second. The triad student/storyteller - teacher/supervisor - library/magic space is emphasized in order that the cooperation between the mentioned triad promotes the reading for pleasure allowing the practicable dynamic development in the educative community space. This narrative was constructed, analyzed and interpreted, from records I made as coordinator of the project, from observation grids and photographic images that describe and explain the extent of our search of meaning. The results obtained, are indicators of the high relevance level and of the reached participations, as well as of the transforming impact in the attitudes and profits on the students. This project proved to be a promoter and facilitator via of communication, of education for sensitivity and, consequently for citizenship of all the participants.
