A importância da língua inglesa e a problemática do erro durante o processo de aprendizagem

Este estudo retrata a relevância do Inglês na actualidade e a importância deste como língua segunda. São também abordadas as vantagens do multilinguismo e o impacto do estudo de diferentes línguas na sociedade actual. Pretende-se analisar a evolução do ensino de línguas até a actualidade, através do estudo das várias metodologias, abordagens e teorias da aprendizagem. A análise dos prós e contras de cada uma irá permitir uma aplicação mais correcta destas de forma a promover a aprendizagem e o ensino da língua inglesa. Vai-se perceber o que motiva a aprendizagem da língua inglesa considerando causas como a idade, factores intrínsecos e extrínsecos aos alunos, bem como os entraves à aprendizagem dos mesmos. Irão ser ainda identificados e analisados os erros mais comuns, nomeadamente erros gramaticais, fonéticos e lexicais. No final, serão identificadas estratégias que colmatem estes erros e que posam ser aplicadas em fases primárias do ensino da língua Inglesa.

This Study demonstrates the importance of the English language nowadays and its relevance as a second language. The advantages of multilingualism are also approached, as well as the study of several languages and its impact in the current society. The evolution of the education of languages, until now, will be analyzed throughout the study of several methodologies and educational theories. The analysis of the pros and cons of each one will allow a better use of them, in a way that it promotes teaching and learning of the English language. There will be an interest in understanding what motivates the learning of the English language considering causes such as: age, intrinsic and extrinsic factors of students, as well as barriers towards its learning. The most common errors will be analyzed and identified namely: grammatical, phonetical and lexical mistakes. In the end, strategies to prevent these mistakes, which can be applied in a primary phase of the English teaching language, will be identified.
