O Design é um modo de vida! Não é simplesmente mais uma disciplina mas um factor determinante na minha forma de ser e de estar. É um conceito que assimila multidisciplinaridades. Para se progredir nesta área é necessário interiorizar uma postura de acção, de atitude, de confronto perante os problemas, de definir estratégias, de procurar soluções. É também experimentar, desenhar, projectar, sentir, construir modelos, fazer protótipos, testar, efectivar adaptações. Para alcançar o sucesso é essencial ser perseverante, empreender e inovar. A tentativa e a acção conduzem-nos frequentemente ao erro. Com o erro também se aprende sendo o verdadeiro desafio, superá-lo, transformando-se numa conquista. Agir, em vez de pactuar com a passividade, como se de um compromisso se tratasse. Os erros fazem parte da escola e da aprendizagem da Vida. Quando ultrapassados são sinais de evolução ou desenvolvimento, tendo como objectivo retirar destas tentativas o maior conhecimento possível, para aplicar em projectos futuros. O presente Relatório Profissional espelha o porquê do meu percurso académico, das minhas opções ou orientações profissionais. A minha relação com o Design e com o ensino foi uma experiência cumulativa de anos nesta prática modificando, o que penso e consequentemente o que sou. Este facto despoletou a procura, refinando o acto de integrar a tecnologia para além do desenho a consolidar saberes, aprendendo comigo e com os outros.
"Design is a way of life!" It is not simply yet another discipline but it is a determining factor in my way of being and living. It is a concept that assimilates multidisciplinarity. To make progress in this area it is necessary to internalize an action posture, an attitude of confrontation towards problems, to define strategies, to seek solutions. It is also experience, drawing, drafting, feeling, building models, prototyping, testing, making adjustments. To achieve success it is essential to be persevering, to be undertaking and to innovate. Trial and action frequently lead us to error. With the error the real challenge is also learn, overcame, becoming a conquest. The prime of acting, rather than condoning passiveness, as if a compromise were at stake. Errors are part of the school and learning of life. When surpassed, they become signs of evolution or development, with the aim of gathering the greatest possible amount of knowledge from these attempts, for applying in future projects. This Professional Report mirrors the why of my academic record, a more accurate reflection of my options or professional guidelines. My relationship with Design and teaching was a cumulative experience of years in this practice, modifying what I think and consequently what I am. This fact triggered the search, refining the Act of integrating technology in addition to drawing, in order to consolidate knowledge, learning with myself and with the others.
