Este projecto enquadra-se no âmbito da educação pré-escolar e, mais especificamente, nas actividades promovidas ao nível da Componente de Apoio à família. Sendo a supervisão pedagógica e acompanhamento da execução dessas actividades da competência dos educadores de infância, incluindo-se essas tarefas na componente não lectiva de estabelecimento, o presente trabalho teve como principal objectivo identificar dinâmicas socioeducativas que possam tornar-se potencialmente ricas do ponto de vista da recreação e do desenvolvimento das crianças. Do ponto de vista metodológico o projecto inscreve-se numa metodologia de investigação-acção, valorizando a acção e a investigação como meios importantes de construção de saberes e encontrar resposta para as questões que se nos colocam. A intervenção decorreu, em contexto urbano, numa instituição particular de solidariedade social, com um grupo constituído por dezasseis crianças. Ao nível da pesquisa procurámos compreender como eram percebidas pelas crianças, pais e educadora responsável pela organização e supervisão da componente de apoio família, as respostas proporcionadas por esta componente e equacionar práticas alternativas para a sua concretização. O estudo foi sustentado num quadro teórico de cariz construtivista, através do qual procurámos alargar conhecimentos sobre a importância do lúdico na aprendizagem e desenvolvimento das crianças e o papel importante que, nesse processo, assumem os contextos em que se integram. Os resultados do estudo evidenciam que merece ser dada uma melhor atenção e valorização aos tempos de aprendizagem dita informal, como o são os que integram as actividades de animação e apoio às famílias, aspectos aos quais os processos de formação dos profissionais de educação não podem ficar indiferentes. Palavras -chave: Educação Pré-Escolar, Componente de Apoio à Família, brincadeiras e jogos, aprendizagem lúdica.This Project falls under preschool education and more specifically in the activities promoted at the level of the component of support for the family. Being the pedagogical supervision and monitoring of the implementation of these activities of the competence of kindergarten teachers, including those tasks in the non-teaching component of the establishment, the present work had as main purpose identifying socioeducational dynamics that might become potentially rich by the point of view of the recreation and children development. From the methodological point of view, the project is part of an action-investigation methodology, valuing the action and the investigation as important means for building knowledge and to find answer to the question we face. The intervention took place in the urban context, in a private Institution of Social Solidarity, with a group of sixteen children. At the level of research we tried to understand how were perceived by children, parents and educator responsible for the organization and supervision of the family support component, the answers provided by this component and equates alternative practices for its implementation. The study was supported by a theoretical framework of constructivist nature, through which we have tried to extend knowledge about the importance of playful in leaning and children development and the important role that, in this process, take, the context where they belong. The results of the study show that deserves to be given a better care and appreciation to the times of the so-called informal learning, as they are those in the entertainment activities and support to families, aspects which the procedures for training of professionals of education can not be indifferent.
