The subject of migration is something that has been widely observed and discussed in our contemporary society, and the reason for studying this issue is related to the significant presence of Venezuelan immigrants in Manaus and the possibility of approaching these people to build dialogues about migration and mental health. In this sense, the objective of this study is to investigate from everyday life of a group of Venezuelans who are in the city of Manaus, in what way the migratory process is reflected on the mental health of this group. The research seek to describe the daily life of these people after migration, and through this describe what was realized in relation to difficulties and demands, to analyze how these issues are reflected on the mental health of this population, considering that, in this research, mental health is beyond psychopathology. It also discusses the conceptual aspects of migration and its derivatives, as well as on Macrocultural Psychology - PMC. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Participants were chosen by means of the technique Snowball in the Casa do Migrante Jo??o Batista Scalabrini, being monitored inside and outside the institution. Ethnography was also used to allow the insertion of the researcher in the daily life of the participants. The information was recorded in a field diary and served as an aid to the ethnographic description of their daily life. The topics of analysis were the discursive practices of the participants, in which the following categories are discussed: displacement motivations, rights, language, work and identity, longing, suffering and social support, being mental health a transversal category. Finally, the research results pointed out that the difficulties arising from the migration process act both negatively and positively under the mental health of the participants. It is noteworthy that the mental health we talk about in this research is seen and comprehended from a broader perspective, especially because it encompasses all aspects of life. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the elaboration of public policies addressed to this population, as well as the accomplishment of other researches involving this theme.
O tema da migra????o ?? algo que vem sendo bastante visualizado e discutido na nossa sociedade contempor??nea, diante disso o motivo que nos leva a estudar esse assunto se refere ?? presen??a significativa de imigrantes venezuelanos em Manaus e da possibilidade de se aproximar dessas pessoas para construir di??logos acerca da migra????o e da sa??de mental. Nesse sentido, o objetivo desse estudo ?? investigar a partir do dia a dia de um grupo de venezuelanos que se encontram na cidade de Manaus, de que maneira o processo migrat??rio reflete na sa??de mental desse grupo. A pesquisa buscou descrever o cotidiano dessas pessoas ap??s a migra????o, e atrav??s disso descrever o que foi percebido em rela????o a dificuldades e demandas para analisar como essas quest??es refletem na sa??de mental dessa popula????o, considerando que, nessa pesquisa, sa??de mental est?? para al??m das psicopatologias. Discute-se, ainda, os aspectos conceituais da migra????o e de seu derivados, bem como sobre a Psicologia Macrocultural - PMC. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa com enfoque descritivo. Os participantes foram escolhidos por meio da t??cnica Bola de neve (snowball) na Casa do Migrante Jo??o Batista Scalabrini, sendo acompanhados dentro e fora da institui????o. Utilizou-se ainda da etnografia por permitir a inser????o da pesquisadora no cotidiano dos participantes. As informa????es foram registradas em di??rio de campo e serviram de aux??lio para a descri????o etnogr??fica do cotidiano. Os t??picos de an??lise receberam como t??tulo as pr??prias pr??ticas discursivas dos participantes, nas quais se discutem as seguintes categorias: motiva????es do deslocamento, direitos, idioma, trabalho e identidade, saudade, sofrimento e apoio social, sendo sa??de mental uma categoria transversal. Por fim, os resultados da pesquisa apontam que as dificuldades oriundas do processo migrat??rio atuam tanto de forma negativa quanto de forma positiva sob a sa??de mental dos participantes. Vale salientar, que a sa??de mental da qual tratamos nesta pesquisa ?? vista e compreendida por um panorama mais amplo, sobretudo por englobar todos os aspectos da vida. Espera-se que os resultados dessa pesquisa possam contribuir para elabora????o de pol??ticas p??blicas voltadas para essa popula????o, bem como para a realiza????o de outras pesquisas envolvendo essa tem??tica.
