This study aimed to determine whether there was significant learning for students IFES Technical Agribusiness - Agribusiness Campus Alegre "production cost" of content, with the application of the methodology of solving problems. We invite students from the 2nd Series of the course in Agro Tech to be part of this research. Agreed to be part of this study 21 students. Start activities in the second half of 2010, the following steps were planned to be met in research: a) diagnostic evaluation of individuals related to education, b) Application of the mathematics test of elementary school, due to concern about the level of mathematical knowledge required for content to be worked c) theoretical simulation exercise with the practices of production, involving products of brown sugar, guava pulp and sausage barbecue d) Classroom practice of making dulce de leche with the cost of production preparation;) Development of an agricultural product design chosen in the discretion of the student. To evaluate this educational process have created two distinct assessment tools: the attitudes of individuals, with the construction of a questionnaire with 22 statements about the cost of content production, with a scale ranging from "strongly disagree" to "strongly agree" , with intermediate stops, ranging from one to seven points. These instruments were applied in two moments of learning, after the theory and simulation exercises and content after the project design. It was also used a criterion that was assessed during the practice of production and after the project design, the development of calculating the cost of production, with seventeen components of assessment, a total of ten points. In both evaluation tools was perceived evolution of objective knowledge to calculate the cost of production. The greatest progress was seen in the practices of development of production costs, production and development of agro-industrial project, with average grades ranging from 1.6 to 7.3. It was concluded that the methodology of problem solving for the cost of content production, proved to be a great facilitator of learning, improving the quality of graduates in IFES - Campus Alegre

O presente trabalho teve como objetivo verificar se houve aprendizado significativo dos alunos do curso T?cnico de Agroind?stria do IFES ? Campus de Alegre, no conte?do ?custo de produ??o? agroindustrial, com a aplica??o da metodologia de resolu??o de problemas. A pesquisa foi desenvolvida com os alunos da 2? S?rie do curso T?cnico em Agroind?stria, no total de vinte e um alunos. Com in?cio das atividades, no segundo semestre de 2010, foram planejadas as seguintes etapas a serem cumpridas na pesquisa: a) Avalia??o diagn?stica dos indiv?duos relativa ? educa??o fundamental; b) Aplica??o de teste matem?tico referente ao ensino fundamental, face ? preocupa??o em rela??o ao n?vel de conhecimento matem?tico exigido pelo conte?do a ser trabalhado; c) Aulas te?ricas com exerc?cio simulado de pr?ticas de produ??o, envolvendo os produtos a??car mascavo, polpa de goiaba e lingui?a de churrasco; d) Aula pr?tica de fabrica??o de doce de leite, com a elabora??o do custo de produ??o; e) Elabora??o de projeto de um produto agroindustrial escolhido a crit?rio do aluno. Para avaliar esse processo pedag?gico foram criados dois instrumentos de avalia??o distintos: de atitude dos indiv?duos, com a constru??o de um question?rio com 22 assertivas referentes ao conte?do custo de produ??o, com uma escala que variando de ?discordo muito? a ?concordo muito?, com escalas intermedi?rias, variando de um a sete pontos. Esses instrumentos foram aplicados em dois momentos de aprendizado, ap?s a teoriza??o e exerc?cios simulados do conte?do e ap?s a elabora??o dos projetos. De forma interdisciplinar com a ?rea de processamento de alimentos, foi, tamb?m, utilizado um crit?rio que consistiu avaliar, durante a pr?tica de produ??o e na elabora??o de projeto de um produto agroindustrial, o desenvolvimento do c?lculo do custo de produ??o com dezessete componentes avaliativos, totalizando em dez pontos. Nos dois instrumentos avaliativos foi percebido evolu??o na constru??o de conhecimentos voltados para o c?lculo do custo de produ??o. A evolu??o maior foi verificada nas pr?ticas de elabora??o dos custos de produ??o, que envolveu as etapas produ??o agroindustrial e elabora??o de projeto, com a m?dia da nota evoluindo de 1,6, da pr?tica, para 7,8, da elabora??o do projeto. Concluiu-se que a metodologia de resolu??o de problemas, para o conte?do custo de produ??o, revelou-se um ?timo instrumento facilitador do aprendizado, com a melhoria da qualidade dos profissionais formados no IFES ? Campus de Alegre.
