The communication of financial literacy is a very sensitive topic in Portugal. This is an extremely important topic for young people nowadays, but it has been undervalued in our country.With this article, I present my well grounded opinion on the topic, identifying the problems, possible solutions and a final appreciation. Throughout the article it is highlighted the importance of financial literacy and how it has been 'forgotten' in Portugal. So, with this article I intend that there is an in-depth reflection on the subject and that it awakens the attention of people who read it.

A comunicação da literacia financeira é um tema bastante sensível em Portugal. Este, é um tema de extrema importância para os jovens de hoje em dia, mas tem sido desvalorizado no nosso país. Com a realização deste este artigo, apresento a minha opinião devidamente fundamentada sobre o tema, identificando os problemas, possíveis soluções e uma apreciação final. Ao longo do artigo é destacada a importância da literacia financeira e a forma como tem sido ‘esquecida’ em Portugal. Assim, com este artigo pretendo que haja uma reflexão aprofundada sobre o tema e que desperte a atenção às pessoas que o leiam.
