Description

The basic measure of social exclusion introduced by international health authorities to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has economic and social ramifications. They illustrate the growth of insecurity and malnutrition, weakening the promise of food security and health. The National School Feeding Initiative is among the ongoing initiatives to alleviate the effects of hunger. This article aims to problematize the contribution of the National School Meals Program to guarantee food security through theoretical and critical reflections.

A medida básica de exclusão social introduzida pelas autoridades internacionais de saúde para conter a propagação da pandemia COVID-19 tem ramificações econômicas e sociais. Eles ilustram o crescimento da insegurança e da desnutrição, enfraquecendo a promessa de segurança alimentar e saúde. A Iniciativa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar está entre as iniciativas em andamento para aliviar os efeitos da fome. Esta artigo tem como objetivo a problematizar a contribuição do Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar para a garantia da segurança alimentar por meio de reflexões teóricas e críticas.
