Introduction: Tele-nursing provides remote nursing care through the use of information and communication technologies. Tele-nursing makes it possible to watch, monitor and make decisions remotely through the exchange of information and inter-professional collaboration, improving access and the quality of care. This tool requires nurses with specialized skills in the area of the critically ill patient to guarantee the safety of the care provided. Objective: To map the evidence on tele-nursing in the approach to people in critical situations in out-of-hospital settings and emergency services. Methods: Scoping Review according to the methodology of the Joanne Briggs Institute (JBI). The search strategy will map published and unpublished studies. The databases included will be: PUBMED, CINAHL via EBSCO, JBI Library of Systematic Reviews, COCHRANE Library of Systematic Reviews, Scielo, Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal, Dans-Easy, Lilacs and B-On. This review will include articles focusing on tele-nursing in the approach to the critically ill person in an out-of-hospital setting and in the emergency department. The studies included will be quantitative, qualitative or mixed designs, systematic reviews and guidelines. Expected Results: The aim is to identify the evidence on tele-nursing in the approach to people in critical situations in out-of-hospital settings and emergency services, which will be presented descriptively and through tables designed to meet the study's objective. Conclusion: The results will demonstrate the role that tele-nursing plays with the critically ill person in an out-of-hospital and emergency department setting, raising awareness of the significant gains it brings to the provision of care.
Introdução: A telenfermagem proporciona a prestação de cuidados de enfermagem à distância através do uso de tecnologias de informação e comunicação. A telenfermagem permite vigiar, monitorizar e tomar decisões à distância através da troca de informações e colaboração interprofissional, melhorando o acesso e a qualidade dos cuidados. Esta ferramenta requer enfermeiros com competências especializadas na área do doente crítico para garantir a segurança dos cuidados prestados. Objetivo: Mapear a evidência sobre a telenfermagem na abordagem à pessoa em situação crítica em contexto extra-hospitalar e serviço de urgência. Métodos: Scoping Review segundo a metodologia do Joanne Briggs Institute (JBI). A estratégia de pesquisa mapeará estudos publicados e não publicados. As bases de dados incluídas serão: PUBMED, CINAHL via EBSCO, JBI Library of Systematic Reviews, COCHRANE Library of Systematic Reviews, Scielo, Repositório Científico de Acesso Aberto de Portugal, Dans-Easy, Lilacs e B-On. Esta revisão integrará artigos centrados em telenfermagem na abordagem da pessoa em situação crítica em contexto extra-hospitalar e serviço de urgência. Os estudos incluídos serão desenhos quantitativos, qualitativos ou mistos, revisões sistemáticas e guidelines. Resultados Esperados: Espera-se identificar a evidência sobre telenfermagem na abordagem à pessoa em situação crítica em contexto extra-hospitalar e serviço de urgência, que será apresentada de forma descritiva e através de tabelas construídas para ir ao encontro do objetivo do estudo. Conclusão: Os resultados demonstrarão o papel que a telenfermagem tem perante a pessoa em situação crítica em contexto extra-hospitalar e serviço de urgência, sensibilizando para os ganhos significativos que traz para a prestação de cuidados.
