 When it comes to the Italian Bible of the Évora Public Library (BPADE CXXIV / 1-3), we intend to frame its illuminations in the Bolognese production of the end of the thirteenth century, establishing some points of contact with another Italian Bible belonging to Torre do Tombo (CF 137) and with the Missal Antigo de Lorvão (Lorvão 42, CF 145) from that national archive as well. We also aim at using as a reference other well-known copies, such as the Vatican Bible (lat. 20) and the Parisian Bible (BnF ms. Lat. 18 and 22).

Estas notas sobre a Bíblia italiana da Biblioteca Pública de Évora (BPE CXXIV/1-3), pretendem enquadrar a sua iluminura na produção bolonhesa dos finais do séc. XIII, estabelecendo alguns pontos de contacto com outra bíblia italiana pertencente à Torre do Tombo (CF 137) e com o Missal Antigo de Lorvão (Santa Maria de Lorvão Liv. 43), também deste arquivo nacional e, ainda, utilizando como referência outros exemplares bem conhecidos, como a Bíblia Vaticana ( lat. 20 ) e as parisinas (BnF ms. lat. 18 e 22).
