O tema da residência alternada tem sido alvo de vários estudos nos últimos tempos, cujas vozes, muitas vezes não consensuais, têm vindo a refletir sobre a matéria com a forma apaixonada característica de temas de direito da família em geral e de direito das crianças em particular. Tratam-se, naturalmente, de áreas que, pelos seus efeitos relacionados com questões de psicologia, sociais e diretamente envolventes no processo formativo das crianças, arrastam consigo debates calorosos e inevitavelmente imbuídos de uma carga subjetiva que, por isso mesmo, se vai alterando à medida que as sociedades, por sua vez, também o fazem. Pois como escreveu Camões, “Mudam-se os tempos, mudam-se as vontades, muda-se o ser, muda-se a confiança, todo o Mundo é composto de mudança, tomando sempre novas qualidades”.
The theme of alternating residency has been the subject of several studies in recent times, whose voices, often not consensual, have been reflecting on the matter with the passionate form characteristic of themes of family law in general and children's law in particular. These are, of course, areas that, due to their effects related to issues of psychology, social and directly involved in the educational process of children, drag with them heated debates and inevitably imbued with a subjective charge that, for this very reason, is changing at the same time. as societies, in turn, also do so. As Camões wrote, "Times change, wills change, being changes, trust changes, the whole world is composed of change, always taking on new qualities".
