ThiscourseconclusionpaperaimstoshowtheimportanceofGamesandPlayinEarlyChildhoodEducation,fromananalysisofdatacollectedbetweenpublicandprivateschoolsfromthemunicipalityofTocantinópolis-TO.Thestudyofthethemecamefromaresearchdirectedtoteachersofkindergartenstudentsagedfromthreetofiveyears,andalsoaimedtopointouttheimportanceoftheinsertionofgamesandplayinearlychildhood,asapracticalmodeloflivingexperiencethathelpinthedevelopmentoflearning,inpsycho-emotionalbalance,inadjustingoneselfandothersthroughinteractionsingamesandplay.Thisworkmadeitpossibletoverifytherelevanceofbothgamesandgamesintheteachingandlearningprocess in early childhood education.
