A "Passeio - Plataforma de Arte e Cultura Urbana" é uma plataforma do Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade (CECS).
Passando pelas esquinas da minha cidade, por onde caminham em silêncio almas perdidas e sem chão, deparo-me com a mulher e a criança, inertes, com aquele olhar vazio, de fome. Eu as vejo em cada esquina, sentindo a culpa de uma sociedade que falhou, miseravelmente. Não há presente para elas, apenas o passado e o futuro se encontrando, bem na esquina, surpresos e tentando entender o que os une. Talvez seja o olhar da fome, talvez seja apenas o vazio. Na minha cidade há esquinas que se multiplicam na multidão da passagem. São esquinas em destaque, as esquinas do dinheiro, símbolos vivos das sociedades em (des)construção.
Passing by the street corners of my city, where lost souls walk in silence, I come across a woman and a child, inert, with that empty, hungry look in their eyes. I see them on every street corner, feeling the guilt of a society that has failed them miserably. There is no present for them, only the past and the future meeting, just around the corner, surprised and trying to understand what unites them. Maybe it’s the look of hunger, maybe it’s just emptiness. In my city there are corners that multiply in the crowd of people passing through. They are prominent corners, the corners of money, living symbols of societies in (de)construction.
