This study focuses on the Virtual Museum of Lusophony, on Google Arts & Culture, as a digital platform capable of providing a space for collaboration and preservation of the cultural, artistic and scientific patrimony of the community of Portuguese-language countries. In order to achieve the proposal, the theoretical discussion begins with virtual museums, art and technology reflections. In the second stage, about cultural resistance, Lusophony and multicultural globalization. To complete this study, the exhibition “Malangatana: the legacy of the Mozambican artist”, will be presented and analyzed according to the theoretical proposal.
