Description
Context-aware technologies can support automation and control of systems promoting inhabitants’ comfort while safeguarding energy efficiency. In this study, a systematic review of the literature was performed to analyze how context-aware systems with impact in the comfort of buildings’ inhabitants are being developed and how their translation is being addressed. Seventeen studies were included in this systematic review. As a main conclusion, the included articles report comfort solutions based on context-aware technologies still far from being consolidated, mainly because there is a lack of robust evaluation trials.
