In Specialized Artistic Music Teaching (SAMT) the precariousness of work conditions and the instability of educativecontexts are factors that make the pedagogical work developed more difficult. It was sought to understand what are thestructural problems that affect this subsystem, placing the emphasis on the grounds SAMT is organized in, and in whatway that organization helps/harms the accomplishing of its goals. Through a comparative study, aiming to understandboth the evolution of SAMT over the last few decades, and its substantiation in the public and private teaching models,gaps and discrepancies were diagnosed. The bibliographic review of several evaluation reports of the artistic teachingshows that an effective response to these problems was not achieved. It was thus assumed relevant to secure somerestructuring suggestions, presenting an example that embodies both its generic side and the specialized one.
No Ensino Artístico Especializado (EAE) da Música a precariedade das condições laborais e a instabilidade dos contextos educativos são factores que dificultam o trabalho desenvolvido. Procurou-se perceber quais são os problemas estruturais que afetam este subsistema, colocando o enfoque em como está organizado o EAE da Música e de que forma essa organização potencia/prejudica a concretização dos objetivos a que o mesmo ensino se propõe. Através de um estudo comparativo, visando perceber tanto a evolução do EAE da Música ao longo das últimas décadas, como a sua concretização nos modelos público e privado de ensino, diagnosticaram-se lacunas e discrepâncias. A revisão bibliográfica de vários relatórios de avaliação do ensino artístico revela que não tem existido uma resposta eficaz a estasproblemáticas. Assumiu-se, assim, relevante consolidar algumas sugestões de reestruturação, apresentando um modelo que comporte tanto a vertente genérica como a especializada.
