The large interest in Johann Wolfgang von Goethe's nature observation proposal, in the last decades, inspires artistsand researchers to review the very idea of a sensitive knowledge. This knowledge is based on the significance of sensoryexperience through the relation between the body and the environment, through images. The purpose of this articleis to gather some elements of the History of the Arts that allow us to understand the main aspects of the sensitiveknowledge. At the end, the paper suggests some possibilities for current research in both fields the aesthetic educationand the phenomenological thought.
O grande interesse na proposta de observação da natureza de Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, nas últimas décadas, inspira artistas e pesquisadores a rever a própria ideia de um conhecimento sensível. Esse conhecimento baseia-se no significado da experiência sensorial através da relação entre o corpo e o meio ambiente, através das imagens. O objetivo deste artigo é reunir alguns elementos da História das Artes que nos permitem entender os principais aspectos do conhecimento sensível. Ao final, o artigo sugere algumas possibilidades para a pesquisa atual em ambos os campos, da educação estética e do pensamento fenomenológico.
