Formal, Informal and Non-Formal Dimensions in Several Learning Contexts of Dance

We present in this article the intention of addressing the training and development of Dance as an artistic activity, whether in formal dimensions, both in informal and non-formal dimensions resorting to the theory of ‘situated learning’ and the theory of “Community Practice”, implying the authors Jean Lave and Etienne Wenger. In this sense, beyond the formal learning contexts, we aim to highlight the acculturation forms in social contexts as important aspects to the development of this artistic area.

Apresenta-se neste artigo a pretensão de se abordar a aprendizagem da Dança, enquanto atividade artística, quer em dimensões formais, quer nas dimensões informais e não-formais recorrendo-se à teoria de “Aprendizagem Situada” e à teoria de “Comunidade Prática”, implicando os autores Jean Lave e Etienne Wenger. Neste sentido, para além dos contextos formais de aprendizagem, pretende-se realçar as formas de aculturação em contextos sociais tão importantes para o desenvolvimento desta área artística.
