O presente relatório de estágio tem como objetivo refletir acerca da componente audiovisual do jornalismo digital, através da perspetiva de um estudante de cinema. Pretende, deste modo, dar a conhecer o trabalho realizado no departamento digital da empresa Porto Canal, assim como descrever a experiência e conhecimento adquiridos. Durante o estágio foram desempenhados o cargo de repórter de imagem e montador, efetuando a captação de vídeo e de fotografia e a montagem de peças jornalísticas. O conteúdo produzido tinha como propósito ser publicado no Instagram e no website do Porto Canal. Este documento é constituído por três capítulos. O primeiro apresenta uma aproximação relação entre os mundos do cinema e do jornalismo, quer pela presença do jornalismo na história do cinema, quer pela representação da figura do jornalista neste meio. O segundo será dedicado à imagem, no qual será feita uma reflexão sobre a introdução do audiovisual no jornalismo e as características do jornalismo audiovisual. Por fim, o terceiro capítulo abordará a montagem no jornalismo digital, os aspetos diferenciadores face à montagem no jornalismo televisivo e o modo como os seus diferentes formatos condicionam o seu processo.

The present internship report aims to reflect on the audiovisual component of digital journalism from the perspective of a film student. It seeks to present the work carried out in the digital department of the company Porto Canal, as well as to describe the experience and knowledge acquired. During the internship, the roles of image reporter and editor were performed, involving video and photography capture and the editing of journalistic pieces. The produced content was intended for publication on Instagram and the Porto Canal website. This document is composed of three chapters. The first presents the close relationship between the worlds of cinema and journalism, both through the presence of journalism in cinema history and the representation of the journalist in this medium. The second chapter will focus on the image, offering a reflection on the introduction of audiovisual elements in journalism and the characteristics of audiovisual journalism. Finally, the third chapter will address vídeo editing in digital journalism, highlighting the distinguishing aspects compared to television journalism editing and how their different formats shape the process.
