Projeto de Graduação apresentado à Universidade Fernando Pessoa como parte dos requisitos para obtenção do grau de Licenciada em Criminologia
O presente projeto de graduação foi elaborado no âmbito da obtenção do grau de licenciatura no curso de Criminologia da Universidade Fernando Pessoa, sob a orientação da Professora Doutora Ana Sacau. O tema do meu trabalho titulado de “O Silêncio da Violência nas Relações de Intimidade”, foi escolhido e ponderado após uma análise das várias hipóteses ao nível desta área, pois trata-se de um dos grandes problemas na sociedade atual. A delinquência é um fator bastante preocupante na nossa sociedade, principalmente a delinquência juvenil. Todos os dias, membros pertencentes a áreas da psicologia, criminologia, polícia, etc., tentam combater o aumento da delinquência, nomeadamente a partir dos jovens, que são os mais propícios a seguir o caminho desviante. Através da intervenção proposta neste trabalho pretendo dar início à mudança nas imensas relações de intimidade não saudáveis. Como é sabido, os estudos que se assentam sobre a criminalidade em geral baseiam-se em dados recolhidos que se referem apenas à delinquência declarada e não à delinquência real. Este facto verifica-se na violência nas relações de intimidade de forma brutal. A vítima, seja ela homem ou mulher, muitas vezes não denuncia o crime, o que pode dever-se a vários motivos tal como será apresentado ao longo do trabalho. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho foi então a pesquisa bibliográfica enriquecida pela leitura de artigos, estatísticas, comentários científicos e notícias de anos recentes, sem esquecer o conhecimento universitário adquirido através do estudo das matérias lecionadas ao longo dos três anos da licenciatura em criminologia, bem como o estágio curricular que frequentei.
This graduation project was developed in order to obtain a degree in Criminology at Fernando Pessoa University, under the supervision of Professor Ana Sacau. The theme of my work entitled "The Silence of Violence in Intimate relationships" was chosen and considered after an analysis of the various hypotheses in this area, as it is a major problem in today's society. Delinquency is a very worrying factor in our society, especially juvenile delinquency. Every day, members belonging to the areas of psychology, criminology, police, etc., try to fight the increase of delinquency, namely from young people, who are the most likely to follow the deviant path. Through the intervention proposed in this paper i intend to initiate change in the many unhealthy intimate relationships. As it is known, the studies that are based on criminality in general are based on data collected that refer only to declared delinquency and not to real delinquency. This fact is brutally verified in violence in intimate relationships. The victim, be it a man or a woman, often does not report the crime, which may be due to several reasons, as will be presented throughout the paper. The methodology used in this work was then the bibliographical research enriched by the reading of articles, statistics, scientific comments and news from recent years, without forgetting the university knowledge acquired through the study of the subjects taught during the three years of the criminology degree, as well as the curricular internship i attended.
