O presente relatório de estágio surge no âmbito do Mestrado em Educação Pré́- Escolar e Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico, da Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti. A investigação foi realizada a partir da temática “A Expressão Artística como facilitadora da aprendizagem do Português no 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico”, sob orientação da Doutora Sandra Mónica Figueiredo de Oliveira. A investigação pretende compreender de que forma o cruzamento da Expressão Plástica com o Português poderá beneficiar o processo de aprendizagem do aluno. Neste sentido, inicialmente, apresentamos perspetivas teóricas relativamente a conceitos essenciais ao desenvolvimento da investigação, ou seja, explanamos a importância da Arte no ensino, clarificamos o processo de ensino-aprendizagem do Português no 1.º CEB, referimos a importância da prática da Interdisciplinaridade e, ainda, expomos o conceito de competência e de que forma esta pode ser desenvolvida em contexto de sala de aula. No que concerne às opções metodológicas, utilizou-se uma metodologia qualitativa, recorrendo a diferentes instrumentos e técnicas de recolha e tratamento de dados, como entrevistas a docentes do 1.º CEB, observação participante (através da criação e colocação em prática de atividades interdisciplinares) e análise documental.
This intership report is presented within the scope of the Master’s degree in Pre- School Education and 1st Cycle of Basic Teaching, from Escola Superior de Educação de Paula Frassinetti. The subject of the research was “The Artistic Expression as a facilitator for Portuguese learning on the 1st Cycle of Basic Teaching”, under the supervision of Professor Sandra Mónica Figueiredo de Oliveira. The investigation aims to understand how the student’s learning process can benefit from the crossover between Artistic Expression and Portuguese. To achieve this, firstly, we presented theoretical perspectives on main conceptions to the development of the investigation. In other words, we explained the relevance of Art in education, secondly, we clarified the Portuguese teaching-learning process on the 1st Cycle of Basic Teaching, thirdly, we exposed the value of Interdisciplinarity, then we exposed the concept of Competence and how it can be developed in the classroom atmosphere. With regard to the methodological options, a qualitative methodology was used, recurring to different data collection instruments and techniques, such as interviews of 1st Cycle of Basic Teaching professors, participants observation (through the creation and application of interdisciplinary activities) and document analysis.
