I (Prática pedagógica)- Esta secção do Relatório de Estágio pretende apresentar elementos referentes ao Estágio do Ensino Especializado da Música no ensino do saxofone, efectuado na Escola de Música Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues, no ano lectivo 2012/2013. Neste estágio foram envolvidos e analisados três alunos, em níveis distintos de desenvolvimento, mas com orientações semelhantes no que respeita à organização do trabalho. Para cada aluno foram realizados trinta planos de aula, uma planificação anual e três gravações vídeo/áudio em contexto de sala de aula, permitindo uma análise e reflexão mais profunda do trabalho docente. A secção é composta pela caracterização da escola onde se realizou o estágio, através da sua contextualização/funcionamento, dos seus espaços e equipamentos, recursos humanos existentes e organização pedagógica. Posteriormente é efectuada a caracterização dos três alunos envolvidos no estágio, baseada na experiência docente e nos conhecimentos fornecidos pelas Unidades Curriculares do Mestrado em Ensino da Música. Seguidamente descrevem-se as práticas lectivas desenvolvidas ao longo do ano lectivo por parte do docente, incorporando linhas orientadoras da docência aplicadas na prática pedagógica. É feita uma análise crítica da actividade docente no âmbito do estágio do Ensino Especializado da Música, e, por último, uma conclusão desta primeira secção. .
II (Investigação)- Na segunda secção do Relatório de Estágio é apresentado o projecto de investigação desenvolvido no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Música. A temática a ser investigada centra-se na influência do acompanhamento em suporte digital na motivação dos alunos de saxofone, principalmente nos primeiros estádios de aprendizagem (1.º, 2.º e 3.º grau). A organização desta segunda secção contempla uma descrição do projecto de investigação, apresentando-se a problemática da investigação e o seu fio condutor. Posteriormente é exposta a revisão bibliográfica com as teorias da motivação mais importantes e os recursos multimédia em contexto educacional. A metodologia de investigação é apresentada e justificada, sendo descritos também aspectos importantes para posterior análise. A investigação envolveu um total de vinte e três alunos de saxofone, referentes à Escola de Música Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues e à Academia de Música de Óbidos. Os alunos estiveram sujeitos a um método experimental para avaliar os efeitos do uso do recurso em estudo na sua motivação. A observação directa, a aplicação de inquéritos por questionários aos diferentes grupos e posterior comparação, assim como a realização de entrevistas semiestruturadas a professores que utilizam este recurso nas suas aulas foi a metodologia adoptada para obter os resultados da investigação. Após uma primeira estruturação da recolha de dados dos questionários em formato de tabela, é feita a apresentação dos resultados, colocada em gráficos com as respectivas legendas. São apresentados os resultados das entrevistas aos professores, assim como são debatidos e analisados todos os resultados que comprovam a realização e o resultado desta investigação. Por último, esclarece-se qual a influência do acompanhamento em suporte digital na motivação dos alunos, assim como são apresentadas outras conclusões inerentes à investigação.
ABSTRACT I (Teaching) - This section of the Internship Report intends to present evidence relating to the Specialized Music Education Internship in teaching saxophone, performed at the Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues Music School in the academic year 2012-13. At this stage three students at different levels of development were analyzed, however all three were given similar guidelines with regards to the organization of their work. For each student, thirty lesson plans were developed, one annual planning was undertaken and three video/audio recordings within the classroom were made, allowing for deeper reflection and analysis of the teacher's work. This section of the report begins with a characterization of the school in which the internship took place, specifically a contextualization of the school’s spaces and equipment, human resources and educational organization. This is followed by a profile of the three students involved, based on the teacher’s experience and knowledge, gained within the curricular units of the Masters in Music Education. Next is a discussion of the teaching practices developed throughout the school year by the teacher, incorporating guidelines of teaching applied in teaching practice, a critical analysis of teaching activity under the Specialized Music Education Internship, and finally, a conclusion of this first section.
ABSTRACT II (Research) - The second section of the Internship Report presents the research project developed in the framework of the Master in Music Education. The focus of the investigation is the degree to which monitoring with digital media influences motivation levels amongst students learning saxophone, especially in the early stages of learning (1st, 2nd and 3rd grade). The second section includes a description of the research project, the question under investigation, and the methodology used. This is followed by the bibliography including the key theories of motivation and multimedia resources within an educational context. The research methodology is presented and justified, being including important aspects for later analysis. The research involved a total of twenty-three students of saxophone, from the Luís António Maldonado Rodrigues Music School and the Music Academy of Óbidos. The students were subjected to an experimental method to evaluate the effects of the resource in studying their motivation. This consisted of direct observation, the application and later comparison of surveys via questionnaire amongst different groups, as well as the carrying out of semi-structured interviews with teachers who use this feature in their classes. After an initial restructuring of the data collected from the questionnaires in table format, the results are presented in charts with captions. The results of interviews with teachers are discussed and all the results that prove the conclusion and results of this research are analyzed. Finally, the degree to which monitoring with digital media influences motivation levels amongst students learning saxophone is clarified, and other findings concerning the research are presented.
