Relatório de Estágio realizado no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada II apresentado à Escola Superior de Educação de Lisboa para a obtenção de grau de mestre em Ensino do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e de Matemática e Ciências Naturais do 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico
O presente relatório provém das intervenções pedagógicas efetuadas numa turma de 2.º ano do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e em duas turmas de 5.º ano do 2.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico. Neste relatório, inclui-se uma investigação realizada na turma de 2.º ano em que se pretende estudar a flexibilidade de cálculo mental dos alunos. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste estudo é compreender como alunos de 2.º ano mobilizam estratégias na resolução de tarefas que visam o desenvolvimento da flexibilidade de cálculo aditivo. Para tal, foram operacionalizadas quatro tarefas de natureza aditiva com oito alunos, divididos em dois grupos de quatro. Como técnicas de recolha de dados, foram utilizadas a observação direta e participante e a recolha documental; as fontes de informação para esta recolha foram os registos áudio e as produções dos alunos. Ao analisar os dados recolhidos, é possível concluir que os alunos diversificavam muito as estratégias utilizadas, sendo que as estratégias mais utilizadas pelos alunos foram as estratégias de tipo N10 e A10 e nenhum aluno utilizou uma estratégia de tipo 10S. Foi verificável que os alunos se apropriaram das estratégias uns dos outros, à medida que estas eram discutidas em pequeno grupo, o que permite concluir que existe uma possível influência do ambiente na utilização das estratégias. Ao nível da flexibilidade de cálculo, é de notar que existem dois indicadores de flexibilidade de cálculo mental muito fortes: o mesmo aluno utilizar estratégias diversificadas e utilizar resultados numéricos anteriores para estabelecer relações para outras operações propostas. Assim, apesar de apenas três alunos demonstrarem diversificar as suas estratégias de acordo com a situação proposta, verificou-se que a maioria dos alunos demonstrou ter um cálculo bastante flexível.
ABSTRACT This report comes from the pedagogical interventions carried out in a 2nd grade class of the 1st CEB and in two classes of 5th year of the 2nd CEB. In this report, it is included an investigation carried out in the 2nd year class in which is intended to study the students' mental calculation flexibility. In this sense, the objective of this study is to understand how 2nd year students mobilize strategies in the resolution of tasks that aim at the development of the flexibility of additive calculation. For this, four additive tasks were carried out with eight students, divided into two groups of four. As data collection techniques, direct and participant observation and documentary collection were used. The sources of information for this collection were the audio records and the productions of the students. When analyzing the collected data, it was possible to conclude that the students diversified the strategies used, that the strategies most used by the students were the strategies of type N10 and A10, and that no student used a strategy of type 10S. It was verifiable that students appropriated each other's strategies as they were discussed in a small group, which leads to the conclusion that there is a possible influence of the environment on the use of strategies. As about flexibility of calculation, it should be noted that there are two very strong mental calculation flexibility indicators: to use diversified strategies and to use previously worked operations to establish relationships for other proposed operations. Thus, although only three students demonstrated to diversify their strategies according to the proposed situation, it was verified that the majority of the students demonstrated to have a very flexible calculation.
