Relatório Final do Estágio do Ensino Especializado, apresentado à Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, do Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, para cumprimento dos requisitos à obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ensino da Música.
Resumo I (Prática pedagógica) A elaboração deste relatório pretende descrever detalhadamente todas as etapas da Prática Pedagógica realizada pelo mestrando no Conservatório Regional de artes de Montijo (CRAM), no ano letivo de 2016/2017. Inicialmente, será apresentado o enquadramento histórico da cidade de Montijo, seguido pela identificação, descrição e breve história do CRAM. Posteriormente, será realizada uma caracterização da evolução de três alunos envolvidos na prática pedagógica desenvolvida pelo mestrando, frequentando os mesmos diferentes graus de aprendizagem. Finalmente, serão descritas e analisadas as estratégias de ensino abordadas com cada aluno, referidos de ora em diante como aluno A, B e C. Para o aluno A, aluno de iniciação, foi desenvolvida uma metodologia adequada ao seu grau de ensino, visando o manuseamento do instrumento, as noções básicas da técnica do instrumento, respiração e o interesse pela música; ao aluno B, aluno de 2º grau, foi elaborado um plano metodológico com maior incidência no desenvolvimento da postura, respiração e técnica do instrumento; com o aluno C, aluno de 2º grau, foi elaborado um plano de trabalho baseado no desenvolvimento da respiração e aperfeiçoamento técnico. De forma a explicitar detalhadamente os planos pedagógicos realizados com cada aluno, será elaborada a descrição dos recursos utilizados, tal como apresentação das práticas educativas desenvolvidas. Por último será apresentada uma análise crítica da atividade docente, onde serão analisados e discutidos os aspetos positivos e negativos, terminando com a reflexão final de toda a componente pedagógica.
Resumo II (Investigação) A investigação apresentada pelo mestrando no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino da Música tem como foco de investigação a falta de inserção do estudo do registo grave da trompa no ensino e a escassez de conhecimento de repertório específico para esse mesmo registo. Com o objetivo de fundamentar o foco de investigação apresentado, será realizada inicialmente uma revisão da literatura que aborda os seguintes temas: a história da trompa, a tessitura e escrita da mesma, a iniciação da escrita para o registo grave da trompa, o registo grave da trompa no ensino e a escassez de conhecimento de repertório específico para esse mesmo registo. Cada um destes temas será desenvolvido mediante investigação e análise de documentação, visando fundamentar de forma científica o foco da presente investigação. Concluída a revisão da literatura, será apresentada a metodologia da investigação. Nesta, serão apresentados os métodos utilizados para o desenvolvimento da pesquisa relacionada, seguida da recolha de dados primários, os quais serão obtidos através de questionário ministrado a uma amostra de intervenientes. Essa amostra é constituída por trompistas, de forma a garantir que os resultados obtidos são relevantes para a investigação. Em seguida será realizada a análise e discussão dos resultados obtidos através do referido questionário, procurando assim responder de forma clara e concreta ao foco da investigação. Por fim, será realizada pelo mestrando uma reflexão final sobre a investigação.
Abstract I The purpose of the present report is to describe, in detail, every step of the Pedagogical Practice developed by the author at the Conservatório Regional de Artes de Montijo (CRAM), in the academic year of 2016/2017. The approach begins with the historical framework of the city of Montijo, followed by the identification, description and brief history of the CRAM. Subsequently, a characterization/evolution is presented for three students, at different learning grades, who have been exposed to the Pedagogical Practice mentioned above. Lastly, the teaching strategies used with each student, referred to as student A, B or C, are described and analyzed. For student A, a beginner, the developed method was fitted to his level: aimed at the handling of the instrument, basic notions of its technique, breathing technique and the student’s own interest in music. For student B, a second-grade student, a planned method was developed with a greater focus on posture development, breathing technique and instrument technique. Lastly, with student C, also a second-grade student, a work plan was developed, based on breathing development and technique improvement. In order to describe in detail, the Pedagogical Plans made for each student, the utilized resources are presented and described, as well as the developed educational practices. On a closing chapter, a critical analysis of the teaching activity is presented, reviewing positive and negative aspects, culminating in a final reflection on the entire pedagogical component.
Abstract II The present investigation is offered by the author within the subject of the Master’s in Music Teaching, and it focuses on both the absence of the study of the French horn’s lower registry in most teaching curriculums and the lack of specific repertoire knowledge for that same purpose. With the purpose of justifying the mentioned investigative focus, some specific literature will be revised, specifically, approaching the following topics: the French horn’s history, its musical range, specific music sheet writing for the French horn, the beginning of specific writing for the French horn’s lower registry and the lack of specific repertoire knowledge for that same registry. Each one of these topics is developed through investigation and documentation analysis, with the intention of creating a scientific basis for the investigation’s focus. Once the revision of the literature is complete, the investigation’s methodology is presented, that is, the methods used in its research, followed by the collection of primary data, obtained via survey presented to a sample of individuals. This sample is composed of French horn students, in order to assure that the obtained results are relevant to the investigation. The next logical step is the analysis and discussion of these results, in order to provide a clear and concrete conclusion regarding the focus of the investigation. Lastly, the writer presents a final reflection on the whole investigation.
