A presente investigação tem o propósito de estudar a relação dos jogadores de futebol federados, não profissionais, do Concelho de Loures com a Internet e software social e compreender o papel e relevância do software social no relacionamento entre companheiros de equipa. O enquadramento apresentado tem como intuito criar balizas teóricas respeitantes ao estudo realizado. Nesse sentido, relacionam-se temas como as Novas Tecnologias, Internet, Comunicação, Rede, Software Social, Redes Sociais e Análise de Redes Sociais e são feitas referências a estudos realizados sobre estas matérias, por outros autores, que são a posteriori relacionadas com os resultados obtidos no presente estudo. No decorrer da investigação foram obtidas 50 respostas aos inquéritos, realizados a 92 jogadores, e foi efectuada uma análise da rede de relacionamentos on-line e off-line a 3 equipas de futebol. O resultado obtido a partir das análises leva-nos a concluir que a maioria dos jogadores tem uma relação de proximidade, madura e regular com a internet e software social. Em termos de implicações na sua vida pessoal, conclui-se que o software social e internet são potenciadores da comunicação e interacção entre pessoas e auxiliam a manutenção e reforço das suas redes sociais. Não existindo, para os inquiridos, factores negativos que impliquem fortemente com as suas vidas pessoais. No que diz respeito à relação dos jogadores, os resultados da análise das redes indicam um maior relacionamento on-line através de software social entre colegas de equipas de maior dimensão e uma relação similar on-line e off-line em equipas pequenas. Contudo esta análise necessita de uma maior profundidade e da observação de pelo menos mais uma equipa de pequena dimensão para se obter resultados comparáveis.
The present investigation has the purpose to study the relationship of non-professional federated football players, from county of Loures, with the Internet and social software and understand the role and relevance of social software in the relationship between team mates. The presented framework was developed in order to create goals with regard to the theoretical study. In which relate issues such as New Technologies, Internet, Communication, Networking, Social Software, Social Networks and Social Network Analysis and make references to studies on these subjects, made by other authors, which are related to the results obtained in this study. In the course of the investigation were obtained 50 responses to surveys, carried out with 92 players, and was made a social network analyses of online and offline relations to 3 football teams. The results obtained from the analysis leads us to conclude that most players have a mature, regular and close relationship with the Internet and social software. In terms of implications on their personal life, it is concluded that social software and internet are enhancers of communication and interaction between people and help maintain and strengthen their social networks. The players show no negative factors involving strongly with their personal lives. Regarding the relationship between players, the analysis results indicate a greater network of relationships through online social software peer larger teams and a similar relationship online and offline in small teams, but this analysis requires a greater depth and observation of at least one small team to achieve comparable results.
