Partindo-se da situação de crise que caracteriza o Portugal dos últimos anos, verificando-se através de vários estudos que o Empreendedorismo tem um papel comprovado no desenvolvimento das sociedades, e constatando-se a partir do trabalho de pesquisa desenvolvido que a sociedade portuguesa é pouco empreendedora, esta dissertação conjuga aqueles três aspetos e apresenta uma abordagem que pretende enfatizar o papel do “Empreendedorismo” enquanto parte importante da solução para o país “descolar” definitivamente rumo ao desenvolvimento. Nessa premissa defende-se que o sistema de ensino, e a sua reformulação nos termos propostos, é fundamental para alavancar o surgimento de uma sociedade mais empreendedora, e por essa via, mais propensa ao desenvolvimento sustentado. Assim, o objetivo geral desta dissertação é apresentar uma proposta de renovação de fundo do sistema de ensino, baseado numa filosofia empreendedora, levando o Empreendedorismo “para dentro” das Escolas, transformando-as em pólos de inovação e criatividade. Partindo de uma pesquisa exaustiva, procurou fazer-se o devido enquadramento do Empreendedorismo, enquanto área de estudo genérica, focando-se depois especificamente no Ensino do Empreendedorismo. Para tal, utilizou-se o método interpretativo, mais especificamente descritivo, compreensivo e com alguma componente histórica. A proposta de reforma do sistema de ensino preconizada surge da combinação de três fatores: o trabalho de pesquisa desenvolvido neste trabalho; a experiência letiva de oito anos do autor como professor; o interesse de sempre do autor relativamente ao Empreendedorismo, enquanto fenómeno socioeconómico. Pretende-se aqui apresentar uma base para discussão e reflexão. O propósito é apresentar uma matriz, um quadro base, que possa ser adaptado às diversas realidades, nomeadamente aos vários níveis de ensino, mas cuja filosofia transversal seja o “Empreendedorismo”.
First considering the Portuguese crisis in recent years, second verifying through various studies that entrepreneurship has a important role in the development of societies, and third noting up from the research developed here that Portuguese society is not as entrepreneurial as it should, this dissertation combines those three aspects and presents an approach that aims to emphasize the role of "Entrepreneurship" as an important part of the solution to the country "take off" definitely towards development. On this premise it is argued that the education system, and its recast in the terms proposed, is crucial to leverage the emergence of an entrepreneurial society, and thereby, more prone to sustained development. Thus, the objective of this dissertation is to present a proposal of renovation for the education system, based on an entrepreneurial philosophy, leading Entrepreneurship "into" Schools, transforming them into centers of innovation and creativity. Starting from an exhaustive research, it was intended to make the framework for the Entrepreneurship, as subject, and after it focusing the attention in Entrepreneurship Education. For this purpose, it was used the interpretative method, more specifically descriptive, comprehensive and with some historical component. The reform of the education system proposed arises from the combination of three factors: the research developed in this work; eight years experience of the author as a teacher; the ever interest of the author in relation to entrepreneurship, while socio-economic phenomenon. The main goal is to present a basis for discussion and reflection .The purpose is to present a matrix, a framework that can be adapted to various situations, including the various levels of education, but whose philosophy is always "Entrepreneurship".
