This study aims to test an explanatory model of both Exit and Attachment levels of students enrolled in universities, being the evaluation of Professors, Extracurricular Activities, Peers and Reputation the independent variables of the model. The survey that was conducted to 321 students who were enrolled in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of university in the academic year of 2011/2012, shows that a better relationship with Professors as well as high levels of perceived organizational reputation are crucial to decrease the probability of the dropout rate before the end of the course. On the other hand, the Attachment of students is explained by evaluating its relationship with students, extracurricular activities, peers and organizational reputation. Taking into account these results, some suggestions are made in order to maximize the Attachment and Retention of students in universities.
