This?paper?analyzes?the?aspects?that?influence?the?development?of?careers?in?the?retail?business? in?distribution?sector?and?analyzes?the?perceptions?that?employees?have?about?their?career? progression,?as?the?policies?of?human?resources?management?of?the?company?in?meeting?with? professional?status?and?future?prospects?of?those?employees.? We? used? a? quantitative? methodology? for? the? distribution? of? a? questionnaire??Career? Development?,?which?featured?45?participants?where?it?was?possible?to?observe,?through?the? data?collected,?that?there?is?a?professional?development?of?employees?over?time?spent?in?the? company,?that?the?company?develops?career?progression?based?on?competency?and?promotions? that?the?professional?development?is?associated?with?geographical?mobility?between?stores.? However,?i?concluded?that?employees?satisfied?with?their?job?as?well?as?employees?that?are? dissatisfied?or?somewhat?unsatisfied?with?the?company?management?policies?with?regard?to? advancement?opportunities?granted?tend?to?have?few?expectations?for?career?progression.? The?analysis?allowed?for?a?deeper?understanding?of?the?Career?Development?in?a?multinational? company?that?operates?in?the?retail?sale?and?it?represents?a?contribution?to?human?resources? department?regarding?career?studies?for?the?company?under?study.
