Nesta dissertação pretende-se unir duas ferramentas usadas no estudo de caracteres de grupos finitos, a teoria de supercaracteres que foi inicialmente formalizada por P. Diaconis e M.Isaacs, com a teoria de feixes de caracteres, introduzida por G. Lusztig. A ideia de feixes de caracteres é essencialmente motivada pelos trabalhos de P. Deligne nos SGA, nomeadamente pelo facto de as representações do grupo fundamental de um grupo algébrico estarem em bijecção com os sistemas locais no grupo algébrico. A organização desta dissertação é a seguinte, o primeiro capítulo é uma pequena introdução à teoria de supercaracteres e constrói-se uma teoria de supercaracteres para um grupo álgebra finito. No capítulo dois é feito um resumo sobre os conceitos elementares usados no resto da dissertação. No capítulo três é feito um resumo da teoria de grupos algébricos, constrói-se um grupo algébrico a partir de um grupo álgebra, e faz-se um breve resumo sobre o morfismo de Frobenius. No capítulo cinco introduz-se a teoria de feixes de caracteres, e a sua motivação, no fim é feita a construção de feixes de caracteres para grupos abelianos, algo que será fundamental para a construção dos feixes de supercaracteres. No último capítulo é feita a construção dos feixes de supercaracteres análoga à construção de supercaracteres para grupos álgebra, e no fim são expostas umas questões deixadas em aberto.
The purpose of this thesis is to unite two tools used in the study of the characters of finite groups, the theory of supercharacters which initially was developed by P. Diaconis and M.Isaacs, with the theory of character sheaves, introduced by G. Lusztig. The idea behind character sheaves is essentially motivated by the works of P. Delign in the SGA, namely by the fact of the representations of the fundamental group of an algebraic group are in bijection with the local systems in the algebraic group. The organization of this thesis is the following: the first chapter is a small introduction to the theory of supercaracteres and is made a theory of supercaracteres of finite group algebra. In the second chapter is made a brief summary of the elementary concepts used in the thesis. In chapter three is made a summary of the theory if algebraic groups, it's defined an algebraic group associated to a finite groups algebra, and in the end of the chapter is introduced the Frobenius morphism. In chapter five is introduced the theory of character sheaves, and its motivation, in the end of the chapter it's made the construction of character sheaves for an abelian algebraic group, which will be fundamental for the construction of the supercharacter sheaves. In the last chapter it's made the construction of the supercharacter sheaves analogously to the construction of supercharacters, in the end are exposed some questions about the supercharacter sheaves left unsolved.
