Description

In a postmodern scenario where mass culture is dominant, design has an important role that it´s necessary when we question this reality. Thus, the design, which is above all an activity based on a planned and reflected process to create discourses in society, mobilizes a methodological activity for material culture, exploring new knowledge fields centered on user as in the process. Whereby an area orientated to problem solving question, the design has it´s genesis in a transdisciplinary approach, identifying problems and developing specific strategies for a solution. Through the various project methodologies, the design attempts to answer the needs of the user working on certain products or services, which contributes for establishing a constructive dialogue on founding new elements of projects and results. In project processes the centrality of communication with other facts transverse to design, such as sociology, anthropology, or even philosophy, formulate one field of wide possibilities for design processes. Thus, under the concept of hybridization, which encompasses the dialectical phenomena in an interdisciplinary plan, this dissertation seeks to construct a discourse that contributes to a clarification of the processes related to a project-hybridization and seek to understand it´s benefits
