Relatório de estágio de mestrado em Ensino de Música
O presente Relatório, elaborado no âmbito do Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade do Minho, reflete o Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógico implementado durante o ano letivo 2017/2018 na Academia de Música de Vilar do Paraíso, nos Grupos de Recrutamento M18 (Saxofone) e M32 (Classe de Conjunto). A Intervenção Pedagógica foi implementada em nove alunos de Saxofone (M18), em regime de Ensino Integrado, bem como, no âmbito da Classe de Conjunto, no Ensemble de Saxofones (M32). Considerando a incidência e epidemiologia das lesões músculo-esqueléticas nos músicos, em geral, e nos saxofonistas, em particular, e da relacionada diminuição da capacidade performativa, o Projeto de Intervenção teve como objeto a promoção da saúde e do bem-estar dos alunos e dos músicos, contribuindo para a prevenção de problemas músculo-esqueléticos, através, designadamente, da implementação de exercícios de aquecimento, alongamento e relaxamento. A avaliação da implementação do Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógico foi levada a cabo através da administração de um questionário, cujos resultados permitem concluir que os participantes interiorizaram a importância das lesões músculo-esqueléticas, alteraram os seus comportamentos implementando exercícios preventivos, e melhoraram o seu bem-estar e performance.
The current Report, prepared in the context of the Professional Internship of the Master's Degree in Music Teaching at the University of Minho, reflects the Pedagogical Intervention Project implemented during the 2017/2018 academic year at the Vilar do Paraíso Music Academy in Recruitment Groups M18 (Saxophone) and M32 (Ensemble Class). The Pedagogical Intervention was implemented in nine Saxophone students (M18), under Integrated Teaching regime, as well as, within the Class of Ensemble, in the Ensemble of Saxophones (M32). Considering the incidence and epidemiology of musculoskeletal injuries in musicians, in general, and in saxophonists, in particular, and related decrease in performative ability, the Intervention Project had the objective of promoting the health and well-being of the students of musicians, contributing to the prevention of musculoskeletal problems, through, in particular, the implementation of warm-up, stretching and relaxation exercises. The evaluation of the implementation of the Pedagogical Intervention Project was carried out through the administration of a questionnaire, whose results allow to conclude that the participants internalized the importance of musculoskeletal injuries, altered their behaviors by implementing preventive exercises, and improved their well-being and performance.
