Após uma abordagem a vários temas relacionados com o Ambiente, procura-se compreender, através da realização de inquéritos a empresas industriais, se estas alteram de forma significativa a sua relação com os fornecedores, após a certificação ambiental, ou se pelo contrário, os processos de selecção e avaliação de fornecedores se mantêm inalterados, sem a incorporação de critérios ambientais. Para isso, é feita a caracterização das empresas, de diferentes dimensões e sectores de actividade, e a descrição das iniciativas ambientais dando especial importância às suas relações com os fornecedores. ABSTRACT: After a boarding to some subjects related with the Environment, is looked to understand, through the accomplishment of inquiries to industrial companies, if these modify of significant form its relation with the suppliers, after the ambient certification, or if for the opposite, the processes of selection and evaluation of suppliers is keep unchanged, without the incorporation of ambient criteria. For this, the characterization of the companies is made, from different dimensions and sectors of activity, and also the description of the ambient initiatives giving special importance to its relations with the suppliers.
