Factores históricos determinam as linguagens do Design Gráfico e a sua metodologia comunicacional, através das influências da Arte. Como consequência: o papel do designer ampliou-se notoriamente. Agora, o designer tem novas habilidades tecnológicas para interagir com o Homem. Esta intersecção de conhecimentos e experiências do indivíduo dá uso à Interactividade como linguagem de comunicação tendo como centro de estudo a Humanidade como causa/consequência de todo o repertório comunicacional/experiencial. Com o desenvolvimento das interfaces gráficas, as tecnologias da informação tornaram-se ferramentas multifacetadas em consequência das exigências da Humanidade. Percebendo a importância da comunicação visual através da interactividade, como metodologia projectual aplicada ao design gráfico pretende-se com esta dissertação definir uma relação entre o texto de Allen Hurlburt, “Layout – O design da página impressa” e as novas tecnologias de comunicação, assim como o seu consequente impacto e contributo perante a sociedade actual; User interaction. As a consequence: the role of the designer has expanded sharply. Now, the designer has new technology skills to interact with Human Being. With the development of graphical interfaces, information technologies have become multifaceted tools as a result of the demands of Humanity. Realizing the importance of visual communication through the interactivity, such as projective idiom methodology applied to graphic design you want-if with this dissertation define a relationship between the text of Allen Hurlburt, "Layout - The design of the printed page" and the new technologies of communication, as well as the consequent impact and contribution to society today.
