O presente trabalho é uma investigação em Serviço Social, sobre a “Intervenção do Serviço Social com famílias, crianças e jovens em perigo integrados em medidas de proteção em meio natural de vida”. Focaliza-se, concretamente, na intervenção do Serviço Social com famílias biológicas, crianças e jovens em perigo, no âmbito da Comissão de Proteção de Crianças e Jovens. A pesquisa incorporou vários procedimentos teóricos e metodológicos. Realizou-se pesquisa e análise documental de diversos autores considerados na área de estudo. Pesquisou-se em livros, artigos de revistas científicas, teses de Mestrado e Doutoramento, legislação e relatórios estatísticos. Utilizou-se o método indutivo e dedutivo e realizou-se a revisão teórica, designadamente, no domínio da Abordagem Sistémica, incluindo esta a Teoria Geral dos Sistemas e a Teoria Ecológica dos Sistemas, de acordo com a perspetiva de vários autores. Abordou-se, ainda, a Teoria de Intervenção na Crise e Centrada em Tarefas, bem como a Teoria da Comunicação. Incidiu-se na abordagem qualitativa, sendo que a técnica utilizada foi a entrevista semiestruturada, orientada por um guião. Aplicou-se a análise de conteúdo, a qual foi organizada em categorias, assentando no cruzamento dos elementos teóricos com os elementos empíricos, de acordo com os objetivos definidos na pesquisa. Concluiu-se, que a prática interventiva do A.S., neste âmbito, fundamenta-se num referencial ético-deontológico, assim, como em conhecimentos teórico-metodológico e instrumental técnico, que influência e é influenciado pelas políticas sociais e pela legislação, legitimando a gestão das respostas de bem-estar social às necessidades da família, criança/jovem, enquanto cidadãos e de satisfação dos direitos sociais. Por outro lado contribui e facilita a intervenção em problemas sociais garantindo maior justiça social, através da participação e autonomia do sujeito em sociedade.
This Work is an investigation in Social Service, about the “Intervention of a Social Service with families, children and youth at risk, integrated measures of protection in natural habitat”. It focuses, concretely, on intervention of Social Service with biological families, children and youth at risk, within the Committee to Protect Children and Youth at Risk. The research incorporated several empirical, theoretical and methodological procedures. We carried out research and documentary analysis of different authors considered in the study area. We researched in books, articles in scientific journals, master’s and doctoral thesis, legislation and statistical reports. It Was used the inductive and deductive method, the latter one seated on a theoretical basis, particularly, in the Systemic Approach, including the General Systems Theory and the Ecology Systems Theory, according to the perspective of diverse authors. Like complementarity, was approached the Theory of Intervention in Crisis, Centered in Tasks, and Theory of Communication. Focused on the qualitative approach, and the technique used was the semi-structured interview, guided in a scripted interview. It was applied to content analysis, which was organized in categories, according to define objectives to research. It was concluded, in short, that the interventional practice of social assistants, in this field, is based on the ethical-deontological, as a referential theoretical-methodological knowledge and technical tools that influences and is influenced by the social policies and by the legislation, legitimizing the management responses of social wellness to family, children/youth needs, as citizens and satisfaction of social rights. On the other hand contributes and facilitates the intervention in social problems ensuring greater social justice, through participation and autonomy of subject in society.
