Este projeto consubstancia um estudo da construção/ manutenção da identidade cultural dos Macaenses tendo por corpus as suas obras; as imagens de semelhança e de alteridade que perpassam nesse construto mais ou menos ficcional de registos de vivências e de estranhamentos que nos chegam em narrativas romanescas ou em pequenos contos e crónicas e poemas do Autor/ator que presencia a construção, sendo também ele o construtor/construído, projetando as figurações do imaginário e perpassando o palimpsesto textual de elementos denotadores da sua mundivivência e reprodutores da sua mundivisão. Os autores/atores que escreveram a sua terra, um lugar mais imaginado do que real, as suas memórias, a sua origem e sobretudo o Outro na busca da perceção de ‘si mesmos’ ; os filhos da terra, aqueles que tematizaram Macau na sua obra não pelo deslumbre da terra estranha, mas porque representa a Mátria, o chão que atenua o seu isolamento e colmata a impossibilidade de materializar o fantasma pátrio que povoa a sua identidade. É, pois a produção dos filhos da terra que aqui se entende como Literatura Macaense, tendo como corpus, sobretudo a obra de Henrique de Senna Fernandes; é na sua tessitura diegética que encontramos a manifestação do urdir de uma identidade crioula, fruto das escolhas entre o que se conserva e o que se transforma “ num processo fantasmal interminável de identificações”. A Literatura Macaense pode entender-se como representação simbólica que permite percecionar uma identidade auto – definida, como processo de integração/ transmissão de uma cultura, de uma comunidade que se construiu de relações interétnicas. Pode, também, ser entendida como o espaço de construção identitária na medida em que, através do discurso literário, se foi tecendo a auto representação e a hétero representação no sentido da representação do EU-OUTRO construído como identidade única, no reconhecimento da sua alteridade em relação ao outro. O modelo analítico que subjaz à elaboração desta análise é a adaptação da proposta de modelo analítico de Alain Viala, e consubstancia duas dimensões: uma que focaliza o valor social dos géneros e das formas, ou seja, recorre ao construto teorético da sociologia da literatura; outra dimensão, que objetiva a análise das construções discursivas da significação e necessita do recurso da teoria da literatura e da poética formal, pois sendo uma proposta de modelo de análise hibrido, ao emergir da confluência dialogante dos campos da teoria literária e da sociologia da literatura, permite uma exploração conjunta, em dialogia simétrica, da sociedade e da literatura.
This project embodies a construction/maintenance study of the cultural identity of the Macanese. Its corpus lie in their works, the images of similarity and otherness that permeate this more or less fictional construct of records of experiences and strangeness that comes to us in romantic narratives or short stories and chronicles by the Author/actor who witnesses the construction. The Author/actor himself is the constructor/constructed, as he projects the representations of the imagination and permeates the textual palimpsest of elements that denote his worldliness and breed his vision of the world. The authors/actors who wrote about their land, a place more imagined than real, their memories, their origin and above all the concept of the Other in search of “themselves”; the children of the land, those who made Macau the theme of their work not only for the amazement of the strange land but because it represents the Motherland, the ground eases their isolation and tackles the impossibility to materialize the ghost of fatherland that inhabits their identity. Here the production of children of the land is therefore understood as Macanese Literature and in its diegetic texture we find the manifestation of the weaving of a Creole identity, the result of the choices between what is preserved and what becomes "a ghostly process of endless identifications". Macanese Literature can be understood as a symbolic representation that allows us to perceive a self-defined identity as a process of integration/transmission of a culture, a community built on interethnic relationships. It can also be understood as the space for identity construction, in the sense that self-representation and hetero representation have been forged through literary discourse as the representation of the SELF-OTHER built as a single identity, in recognition of its otherness in relation to the other. The analytical model that underlies the development of this analysis is the adaptation of the analytical model proposed by Alain Viala, and embodies two dimensions: one that focuses on the social value of genres and forms, i.e. , one that resorts to the theoretical construct of sociology of literature; and the other, which objectifies the analysis of the discursive constructions of meaning and requires the use of theory of literature and formal poetics, since being a proposed hybrid analysis model allows a joint exploration in symmetric dichotomy of society and literature when it emerges from a reconciliatory confluence of conversational fields of literary theory and sociology of literature.
