Este trabalho pertendeu contribuir para a análise funcional do gene QDRl da levedura Saccharomyces cerevisiae que codifica um presumível transportador da membrana plasmática. Este gene parece estar envolvido na resistência a múltiplas drogas, das quais se destacam a droga antimalária quinidina e os azóis, cetoconazole e fluconazole.
