We present a case of a 14-year-old girl with fever and cough in whom the chest x-ray revealed a bizarre density over the upper two thirds of the left lung. It was due to the superimposed long hair hanging on her back. Artefacts images must systematically be suspected specially when being of strange shapes.
We present a case of a 15‑year‑old boy with sudden onset of left hip pain while playing football. The x‑ray revealed an avulsion injury of the anterior inferior iliac spine. The anterior inferior iliac spine is one of the places in the pelvis where avulsion injuries can occur and is due to forceful contractions of the rectus femoris muscle.

We present a case of a six-year old child with wrist pain after sustaining trauma the previous day. The x-ray revealed a torus fracture of the distal radio metaphysis. The torus fracture is one of the fractures occurring in the immature skeleton. Some specific types of children fractures are described as well as the value of the imaging techniques for the diagnosis.

The imaging features are described.
We present a case of a 15 month old female in whom a voiding cystourethrography (VCU) was performed following a febrile urinary tract infection. The exam showed a duplex left kidney with vesicouretral reflux (VUR) to the lower moiety. VCU is the most common method for initial diagnosis of VUR and reflux to the lower moiety of a duplex kidney has a typical configuration.
