The biology of Didelphis marsupialis (Marsupialia, Mammalia) was observed at Ratones Grande Island. The study area is located in the State of Santa Catarina, souther Brazil. Predominant vegetarion is typical of Atlantic Forest. Surveys were done from April, 1995 through March, 1996.
