Utilizou-se o MMPI na avaliação de perfil da personalidade de 25 pacientes com síndrome de dor crônica. Evidenciaram-se em 64% dos pacientes alterações nas escalas 1. 2, 3. O teste mostrou-se adequado para a avaliação dos pacientes, oferecendo padronização e visualização objetiva do envolvimento psíquico.
