Auxetic textile reinforced composites are increasingly used in various industries such as aerospace, construc tion, automotive, medicine, sport, etc. due to their distinctive advantages. This paper reports a review of the mechanical properties and applications of auxetic composites. This review puts an emphasis on auxetic fibres, yarns, and fabrics that can be used to fabricate auxetic composites.
