Optical phonon modes, confined in CdSxSe1−x nanocrystal (NC) quantum dots (≈2 nm in radius) grown in a glass matrix by the melting-nucleation method, were studied by resonant Raman scattering (RRS) spectroscopy and theoretical modeling.
