Seven Phytophthora sp. isolates from black wattle (Acacia mearnsii) were evaluated based on mycelial growth and sporangia production. The greatest mycelial growth rate were observed on carrot-agar and V-8 at 20 and at 28ºC. The isolates sporulated under liquid cultures (KNO3 solution and sterilized water) in continuous light.
