O presente trabalho aborda a prática de arborizar as pastagens naturais e plantadas, retratando suas vantagens e desvantagens produtivas, biológicas e socioeconômicas. Também se comenta sobre os tipos de sistemas de arborização de pastagens, formas de implantação e manejo, seleção de espécies arbóreas, escolha do tipo de muda e cuidados e maneiras de proteger as mudas de danos provocados pelos animais.
