Aniki: Portuguese Journal of the Moving Image accepts original essays on the following areas, among others: cinema; television; video; digital cultures; cinematic art; sound, music and the moving image; history and theory of the moving image. Apart from essays with double blind peer review, this journal will publish interviews; book reviews and conference reports; as well as critical reviews of art exhibitions and international film festivals. Aniki is a biannual journal published by AIM – Association of the Moving Image Researchers.
